High Velocity Equipment Training (HVET) is the only heavy equipment school that offers you real-life training, not just pushing dirt in circles like other schools. HVET teaches their field hours on a local site with hills, slopes and plenty of space for project simulation. Students receive real skills, real experiences and real training to prepare them for actual jobsites in the industry. HVET is unique in that it trains individuals on job specific tasks as requested by employers and is the only equipment training school offering oil and gas industry specific training.

HVET's trainers give each student the time and respect they deserve throughout our 12 week program. It takes a combination of experience and patience to teach you how to operate a 55,000lb machine efficiently. All of our instructors have had years of industry experience in a wide range of situations and jobsites to collectively offer students the most comprehensive safety and heavy-equipment training program available.

Our student services advisor is not only very talented at helping students find and secure funding for training, but she is magically coming up with new employers to help students secure work after graduation. She is an incurable optimist and always has new approaches and ideas to help students move forward with their careers.
